Yoga Kyoshitsu, Aikido in English

Aikido classes in English are offered in Yoga, Setagaya-ku. I teach some children's classes and translate for all other classes. Please join us!

Komaba, Meguro-ku

One possibility from Komaba is Maeda-sensei's dojo that has locations in Sangenjaya and Yoga. This is a dojo that I attend every week, so I can tell you all about it. I translate for the classes on Wednesday night 7 -9 and Sunday morning 10 -12 at Yoga, which is about 20 minutes from Komaba Todaimae. Jimbocho, Chiyoda-ku

For Jimbocho, there is Seishinkan dojo (Ohara-sensei) that has classes in Ochanomizu on Tuesday nights from 7 - 9, as well as many other locations. You can find more information on this web site.

Shonandai, Kanagawa-ken, Yoshinkan Dojo

Yoshinkan is located right in Shonandai, about 6 minutes from the station:

Classes at the main location are Thursday 10:00 am - 12:15 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:15 pm,
Saturday 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm, Sunday 10:10 am - 12:45 pm. They have a couple of other locations in the area as well.

Yoshinkan is affiliated with Koshinkan in Fujisawa.

Saitama-ken (south)

I can highly recommend Koshino-sensei who teaches at locations in Soka, Tsuruse, Tokorozawa, and Minami Koshigaya. He can be reached by phone at 090-6659-7275. Fujisawa, Kanagawa-ken, Koshinkan Dojo

Koshinkan (Nakaoka-sensei) is located in Fujisawa, about 6 minutes from Kugenuma Station on the Enoden Line. Adult, childrens, and advanced classes available several times a week and at multiple locations.

Tochigi-ken

If you are looking for a dojo in Tochigi-ken, you are in luck! In addition to Ki Society World Headquarters, there are at least 12 different dojos and class locations in the prefecture. I think your best bet is to email Ki Society HQ at the email address you can find here with information about where you live, your means of transportation, and if possible, your desired training schedule. If you get interested in aikido and you have the time available, you are going to want to train more than once a week, and this may be the deciding factor in your choice of dojo.
